The weather did not cooperate for this cruise. A tropical depression hung over Queensland so getrting off the ship in Airlie Beach was not possible, and then the entire stop in Port Douglas was cancelled. So we had an extra (rainy) day in Carins. The stop in Willis Island was only for a service call so no disembarking there either, although it was already planned that way.
But we did spend time in Cairns on February 2nd, including an excursion to Kuranda Koala Gardens which included a Skyrail ride through the rain forest and views of Barron Falls.
January 29 - Just one day in Sydney before the cruise, so not much touring around.

Because of the weather, we remained in Cairns overnight so had some time on February 3rd to explore a bit more.
Our final port stop on this cruise was Moreton Island.
We docked at Tangalooma Point and took the excursion "Moreton Bay Aquatic Marine Park Cruise".
Following this cruise along the east coast of Queensland we had a partial day in Sydney and then re-boarded the Crown Princess for another cruise from Sydney that explored the east coast of New Zealand.
